Opening in 1991, Bob’s Grill became popular for breakfast, juicy hamburgers, and hot dogs. The food came with a smile or laugh from owner Bob Atwell. Customers could stand and visit, sit on a bench, or takeout. Bob operated Bob’s Barbecue & Pizza and Bob’s Lunch Counter at Delk’s before opening Bob’s Grill. The build, 252 North Main Street, was previously home to City News and The Side Door Deli.
